IowaCycling.org Holiday Maintenance

Hey folks, I am going to be tinkering around with the website over the holiday break.

Some of the things I might be doing:

• Upgrading the website engine.
  
• Server clean up and optimization.
• Removing users that haven't logged in in a long time.
• Moving topics that were created in the wrong category.
• Creating a FOR SALE forum for all your shopping/selling needs.
• Closing/Deleting forum topics that are inactive or freaking old/irrelevant.
• Attempting to implement a user-driven photo gallery.
• Re-design?
  

Now with this kind of work, there is a possibility for me mess up completely and break/lose something.

If you are worried that your account will be removed, please just log-in which will refresh your last visited timestamp. Worse case, you will just have to register again. I doubt you will lose your username.

There will definately be some downtime, and that is why I am doing this over break when the website traffic is lower.

Check out the Jersey voting post (Sticky) under technical/equip to vote for the new jersey design. I need to know which one to touch up and have Joe W. post on the site, and we have to order SOON.
