Hey All,

This Sunday I'm hoping to get the first WEEKLY group ride going.  It'll probably be around 2 hours or so and we'll be taking off from 30th Century Bike Shop at the corner of Prentiss and Linn.  We'll leave in the morning, exact time is yet to be decided.  This will be a TEMPO ride.  It's a good chance to learn some group dynamic skills and to get comfortable riding shoulder to shoulder with others, a necessity while racing.

Those of you that have a club kit...wear it.  Those of you that don't and need a couple extra jersey's to add to the rotation shoot me an email.  I have a few tops and bottoms left over from last years order that I'd be willing to sell.

Stay Tuned for exact time,

christopher-moore-1@uiowa.edu

Hey- I just rode out to Hills today at just over 16 mph. Would I be able to keep up with this group?

Yes. Absolutely. You should join us. This coming Sunday is the Sugar Bottom Scramble, so most of us will probably be out there racing. You're strongly encouraged to come and race or help out, but if you don't, please use this forum to organize your own ride.

As Nick said above, most of us are going to be at the Sugar Bottom Scramble but if you should start a new thread in this forum and see if some people who aren't going to the scramble will join.
